Hari Om.
Let us begin the fifteenth sarga of the yuddha kAnDam by offering our prostrations at the lotus feet of SrIrAma and our sathguru.
The deliberations in the court of rAvaNa were getting lopsided. On one side was vibhIshaNa warning rAvaNa in no uncertain terms about the disaster the abduction of sItA was going to inflict on the clan of the demons and the city of lanka. The other side were all the reckless warriors who were so bloated with pride and conceit that they hardly remembered the sound thrashing that they received from just one vAnara a few days ago. They were actually appealing to the selfishness of their king rather than taking part in any deliberations. The ten headed king so far didn’t counter his younger brother although he never agreed to what he suggested. He only told him categorically that there was no question of returning sItA since he saw no danger from mere vAnaras and humans! vibhIshaNa kept insisting that none of the star-studded line up of the warriors would be able to stand the assault of rAma. This debate seemed headed towards forced conclusion! Onwards…
Responding to the careful articulation of vibhIshaNa which was comparable to words spoken by the master of speech, bRhaspati, the key warrior of the demons, indrajit spoke –
“O dear, what is this meaningless blabbering that you are resorting to speaking like a coward? Even one who is not born in this hallowed clan wouldn’t speak or act like you. In our entire clan, there is only one person who is devoid of substance, courage, valour, boldness and splendour and that is this younger brother of my father – vibhIshaNa. O coward why are you so afraid of the challenge of the two princes? Even a ordinary demon among us can kill them! The king of the gods, indra, lord of the three worlds was floored by my prowess. Terrified and helpless all the gods fled in various directions. They feared me as I uprooted the tusks of the elephant airAvata. I am that vanquisher of the pride of the gods who can unleash grief on gods and demons. With that kind of valour, why will I be not able to stand up to two ordinary mortals”?
Listening to the words of the great indrajit who was equal to indra in valour, dangerous and spendorus, vibhIshaNa the expert wielder of weapons replied instructively –
“O young one, you have no ability to decide, you are immature and your intellect has not blossomed yet. Therefore you are blabbering all these meaningless words bent upon self-destruction.
नतातमन्त्रेतवनिश्चयोऽस्तिबालस्त्वमद्याप्यविपक्वबुद्धि: ।
तस्मात्त्वयाप्यात्मविनाशनायवचोऽर्धहीनंबहुविप्रलप्तम् ।।6.15.9।।
O indrajit, despite being his son, you are indeed an enemy of rAvaNa masquerading as beneficial to him. You are allowing this kind of destruction of the demons by rAghava out of your ignorance. Not only that you are crooked and foolish, you are fit to be killed and not only you he who brought you here also deserves to be killed. You are foolish, brash, impolite, possessed, wicked, crooked and low on intellect. You are an idiot and pervert and hence you speak so immaturely.
मूढोऽप्रगल्भोऽविनयोपपन्नस्तीक्षणस्वभावोऽल्पमतिर्दुरात्मा ।
मूर्खस्त्वमत्यर्थसुदुर्मतिश्चत्वमिन्द्रजिद्बालतयाब्रवीषि ।।6.15.12।।
Who is capable of facing the unerring arrows of rAghava with death written all over it, shining like the brahmadanDa, flaming like the all consuming fire in the battle? O king, hence let us return sItA to rAma humbly along with lot of wealth, jewels, clothes and exotic gems and devoid of any anxiety live happily here”.

धनानिरत्नानिसुभूषणानिवासांसिदिव्यानिमणींश्च ।
चित्रान् सीतांचरामायनिवेद्यदेवींवसेमराजन् निहवीतशोकाः ।।6.15.14।।
Here we conclude the fifteenth sarga of the yuddha kAnDam of SrImath vAlmiKi rAmAyaNam and humbly offer it at the lotus feet of SrIrAma. Hari: Om!
