Welcome dear reader! SrIrAmajayam!! In this part of the blog, we will make an attempt to capture the kritIs of sathguru thyAgarAja swami in which he relates to an episode in the SrirAmAyaNam. We strive to present it in the order of kAnDam, i.e. we will begin with the bAlakAnDam and keep coming back with kritIs. Obviously, this work will draw on the resource developed by so many rasikAs and also make an attempt for original contribution.
Each kriti will be presented with sAhityam, simple meaning with the context in the SrIrAmAyaNam, links to renditions and a deeper meaning to begin with.
Obviously the work of sathguru thyAgarAja swAmi is an ocean and I could miss a kriti here or there. I’d request you to kindly comment below about it and I can incorporate the kriti.
